Just the other day when I was at our shop, Just Bears and Stuff, at Myrtle Creek, feeling very satisfied with my vast display of bears, dolls and other collectibles when suddenly a young girl walked into shop.
Many people who have visited the shop call it paradise so I am used to people walking straight from the streets into the shop, but there was something about this girl that interested me. So, I went up to her and asked if she needed any help.
All she could say was cherubs. Of course, I didn't have to be a mind reader to realize that she is talking about the display of Dreamsicles that I have in the shop. And those of you who know me know my passion for these delightful pieces.
I told this young lady all about the artist Kristin Haynes and Dreamsicles. My monologue went something like this:
These cherubs that you see are created by an American artist called Kristin Haynes. She started creating adorable characters like cherubs, bunnies and many others in 1991. Kristin's creations were an immediate success and she could not keep up with the demand. So, she turned to Cast Art Industries to help her produce the wide range of Dreamsicles gifts which are one of the favorites of gift collectors.
This young lady heard me out very patiently and then asked me whether she could order Dreamsicles online. I saw a potential customer in her so I took her to my computer and showed her our ebay store with a lot of pride, cutting out the sales talk.
Now whether the young lady bought anything is for another time and another post. But I take this opportunity to tell you that if you are looking for suitable gifts for any occasion, you should look at the Dreamsicles collection that we have on our ebay store. Just click the URL to take you directly to the store.
