Most of us get an immediate feeling of joy
and comfort from periods in our life when we were impacted by a movie character,
stuffed animal, storybook hero or fantasy figure. For many of us Winnie the
Pooh is one of the “feel good” characters we grew up on. Pooh is so impressive
that he has impacted millions through the years. My grandchildren love Pooh.
Recently I came across a poem that
immediately gave me that familiar Pooh Feel Good Feeling. I am sure you will
enjoy it too.
Poem
by Peggy Readon
When
I'm feeling down
and
don't know what to do.
I
take a look around
and
grab my buddy Pooh.
I
hold him in my arms,
snuggle
him nice and tight.
He
keeps me from harm,
and
takes away my fright.
Pooh
is my best friend.
He's
with me in times of doubt.
He'll
be with me until the end,
and
that's one thing I never worry about. ###
